Are these printable worksheets really free?
Yes, completely, and there is no email wall. Click a download button and the PDF arrives. There is no account to make, no newsletter to join, and no watermark across the page.
Can I use these worksheets in my classroom?
Yes. Print, photocopy and distribute as many as you need in a school, nursery, childminding setting, holiday club or at home. The only things we ask are that you do not resell them and that you leave the puzzeroo.app footer on the page.
How do you know each puzzle has only one answer?
Because a solver checks. Every puzzle is generated and then re-solved: a sudoku or number pyramid is discarded unless the solution count is exactly one, a kriss kross is discarded if any two same-length words could be swapped, and a word search grid is rescanned in all eight directions and rebuilt if a word can be read in more than one place.
Are these the same puzzles that are in the Puzzeroo app?
No, deliberately. The app and the worksheets use the same four generators but completely separate seed ranges, so no printable ever reproduces a level from the app. A child can do both without any overlap.
What paper size are the PDFs?
A4 portrait. They print correctly on US Letter too if you tick "fit to page" in the print dialogue — the grids are comfortably inside the margins, so nothing is lost.
Which worksheet should I start a young child on?
For a five- or six-year-old, the 4x4 sudoku pack and the easy word search packs are the gentlest starting points. Number pyramids suit a child who is confident with addition to twenty. Kriss kross needs fluent reading, so it is better from about seven.
Where the worksheets come from
Puzzeroo is an iPhone and iPad app of offline logic puzzles for ages five to twelve: no adverts, no accounts, no subscription, and nothing that needs an internet connection. These worksheets exist because the puzzle generators were already there, already verified, and it seemed a waste not to point them at a printer.
